PT. Sumber Marine Shipyard was established on 6 July 2011 and is located at Jl. Brigjend Katamso KM 5, Tanjung Uncang, Batam. It is a strategic location, just by the main road of Jl. Brigjend Katamso, Tanjung Uncang, the bussiest industrial area in Batam City. It also equipped with jetty which allows for easy loading and unloading. With our strategic location and our jetty facilities, logistics and mobilization can be accomplised with ease.

With a proximity of only 20 km from Singapore, the island can be reached by ferry in less than an hour. It has been declared a Free Trade Zone in 1989 and since then has been developing into a major industrial area.

PT. Sumber Marine Shipyard is currently engaged in Ship Building, Ship Repair, and Conversion of vessels such as CPO, Tug Boat, Cargo Vessel, Cement Carrier, and so forth.

Our total land area is 93.119m2 + abt 200.000m2 new acquisition with 48m x 102m sheltered workshop area, 48m x 46m machine shop, and 24m x 12m warehouse area.

Our waterfront area is 226.13m + 204m new acquisition and jetty 21m x 55m new acquisition with 5 units 50T bollard pull and 1 unit 300T bollard pull.

We have adequate facilities such as 75T & 80T Crawler Crane, 7T & 10T Forklift, Excavator, Loader, Vibra Compactor, Bending & Cutting Machine, Welding Sets, Generators & Compressors, Slipway, 2 unit 50T Winch, and jetty (Special Port).
